About the role:

The Call Center Agent, or Intake Coordinator, is the front line for the Legal Help for Veterans office, answering calls from Veterans and playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information with professionalism and efficiency. This position requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Call Center Agents/Intake Coordinators are professional, responsible, and have excellent communication skills – verbal, and written, and knowledge of MS Office, Internet, and email. Excellent benefits provided.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves clients by providing Veterans Administration (VA) claims knowledge and addressing questions and/or concerns
  • Schedules phone appointments between clients and legal staff
  • Obtains information and documents needed to assess prospective clients’ claims
  • Submits prospective clients’ file to attorney for review
  • Able to multitask
  • Serves as a “friendly voice” of the firm
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
