Volunteer Social Media Content Creator
Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Content Creator to help us amplify our message and engage our online community. This role will involve developing and curating engaging content for our social media platforms, contributing to our online presence, and inspiring others to share kindness. Responsibilities: * Content Creation: * Develop visually appealing and engaging content (text, images, videos, stories) for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok). * Create content that aligns with The Share Kindness Project's mission and brand voice. * Design graphics and edit videos using available tools (e.g., Canva, basic video editing software). * Brainstorm and propose creative content ideas and campaigns. * Social Media Management: * Schedule and publish content across designated platforms. * Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and engage with followers. * Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices. * Help to grow our online community. * Content Curation: * Source and curate relevant content from other sources (e.g., articles, videos, inspirational quotes) to share with our audience. * Ensure all curated content is properly attributed and aligns with our brand. * Collaboration: * Collaborate with other volunteers and team members to develop and execute social media strategies. * Provide regular updates on content performance and engagement. Qualifications: * Passion for the mission of The Share Kindness Project. * Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Creative and detail-oriented. * Proficiency in creating visually appealing content using graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, basic video editing software). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Reliable and able to meet deadlines. * Reliable access to a computer and internet. * Experience with social media analytics is a plus. Time Commitment: * Flexible Schedule. 2-5 Hours a week.
