Services To Enhance Potential (STEP) is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Director of Development to lead fundraising, grant writing, marketing, and community engagement efforts. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic relationship-builder who is excited to grow a development program and expand STEP’s impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all development operations, including fundraising, donor cultivation, and grant writing
• Build and manage STEP’s development department and donor database
• Develop and oversee fundraising initiatives and revenue growth strategies
• Write and manage grants, including reporting and compliance requirements
• Serve as lead staff to the Board Development Committee
• Build strong relationships with donors, foundations, community partners, and Chambers of Commerce
• Supervise marketing staff and support communications such as newsletters, social media, and annual reports
• Partner with the CEO to set development goals, metrics, and strategy

• Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor development
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and strategically in a mission-driven environment
• Passion for advancing opportunity and inclusion for individuals with disabilities
