Legal Help for Veterans, PLLC is a nationwide law firm specializing in assisting veterans with their service-connected disability claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a full-time Call Center Agent, also known as an Intake Coordinator. The Intake Coordinator serves as the office's first point of contact, answering calls from veterans and ensuring exceptional customer service.

In this pivotal role, the Intake Coordinator will address client and prospective client inquires, resolve concerns, and share information regarding files with professionalism and efficiency. Success as an Intake Coordinator demands strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Serves clients and prospective clients by offering knowledge of Veterans Administration (VA) service-connected disability claims 
  • Serves as the "friendly voice" of the firm
  • Schedules phone appointments between clients and legal staff
  • Obtains information and documents needed to assess prospective clients' claims 
  • Receives and appropriately manages a moderate number of incoming calls, as well as outgoing calls, for clients and prospective clients daily
  • Email corresponding with clients and prospective clients
  • Learns and adheres to office naming conventions for emails and correspondence received from clients and prospective clients  
  • Updates client management systems with communications
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned 

Job Type: Full-time
Location: In Person

Salary: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
