About Us: Laurel Manor is a premier, family-owned banquet venue that specializes in hosting corporate and social events, including weddings, showers, business meetings, trade shows, and more. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service in a friendly, professional environment, and we are seeking a Receptionist to become part of our dynamic team.
Position Overview: As the Receptionist at Laurel Manor, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, managing the front desk and providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the daily operations of our venue. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys interacting with people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
- Confirm appointments for current and prospective clients
- Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Keep Stock of Supplies in office & lounge waiting area.
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area
- Ensure a positive and professional guest experience at all times
- Assist with other duties as needed
- Office Hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 6pm, Friday/Saturday, 8:30am - 5pm
- 8 Hour Shifts with Schedule ranging from 2 days - 5 days a week depending on events occurring and how busy the office is.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced situations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office management software
- Familiar with Canva editing software
- A friendly and professional demeanor
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Coordinate Arrival of Event Vendors to Proper Delivery Entrances & Ballrooms
