Recognizing Bias in our Personal & Virtual Interactions
The Livonia Chamber of Commerce is again providing a valuable training for all professionals to help us recognize bias and improve our interpersonal relationships in a judgement-free zone.
The Western Wayne Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Experience, presented by Masco Corporation, is a two-hour virtual event led by outstanding consultants from the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion.
Freda Sampson will lead the discussion on helping us intellectually understand bias during our interactions in person, in virtual conversations, and in social media. Recognizing our bias, and learning to better handle our interactions with all people, are skills that improve creativity, engagement, and productivity in our professional and personal lives.
This session is designed to inspire conversations among your colleagues and it will be the foundation for a more advanced discussion on bias and inclusion during a half-day, in-person training in September.
