Mayoral candidates, Maureen Miller Brosnan and Laura Toy, as well as the eight city council candidates will be invited to appear at the Livonia Chamber of Commerce candidate forums on Thursday, September 26 at 7 p.m. at the Livonia City Hall auditorium.
The event is free and open to the public. Members of the audience will be able to ask questions of the candidates as time permits. The event will be recorded and available for viewing in the weeks leading up to the November 5 election.
Only the two mayoral candidates and eight city council candidates whose names appear on the ballot were invited to participate in the Chamber forum and will be moderated by Livonia Chamber of Commerce President Dan West.
“Advocacy is one of our missions at the Livonia Chamber,” West said. “While we do not endorse candidates, we work to provide helpful resources to inform our Chamber members and the entire community about those running for office in Livonia.”
