Enjoy lunch and hear from Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, a likely 2018 candidate for Governor.
Schuette, who is in second term as Michigan’s top law enforcement official, is expected to run for governor in 2018, but he has yet to make an official announcement.
The attorney general, a Midland Republican, has made news is recent years by leading an independent investigation into the Flint Water crisis to determine of any laws were broken. Several former state employees have been charged as part of this investigation.
Prior to his first election as attorney general in 2010, Schuette previously held roles as U.S. Congressman, Director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture, Michigan State Senator, and as a judge on the Michigan Court of Appeals.
